Everyone should adhere to meeting all the aims of the Bill.

So often LA's refuse to do what they should, so this is vitally important.

6 months should be enough time to prepare a cast iron strategy as long as the right people at consulted beforehand, professionals AND parents.

I do not think this is a  realistic timescale to attain all the necessary information required to ascertain an accurate diagnosis.

The Bill should set out a specific list of which professional must  always be on an assessment team and  a list of which ones may need to be included according to differing circumstances.

Behavioural issues should not prevent delivery of a necessary service, The necessary support should be provided so that  a person can safely access a chosen/required service.

Guidance notes can be 'interpreted' to meet the needs of the wrong 'people', therefore the Bill itself should list exactly what should be collected and what use the information can be used for.

The Bill will be good for everyone, especially people with autism and their carers who constantly have to battle to have needs met and to be treated equally to their non-disabled contemporaries. It will help everyone to  know and understand exactly what to expect at all times and will help stop LA.s and the NHS refusing services and treatments at will.

I would like to see the Bill take into consideration and lay out clearly the rights of the parents and carers of autistic children/adults, and what support should be available to them via their LA.
